Tvilight offers turn-key solution for intelligent street lighting solution. This solution saves up to 80% energy and reduces the operation and maintenance costs by up to 50%.
The system consists of dimmable street lights (e.g. LED lighting) and patented wireless sensor module. This enables the installation to control the lights based on occupancy detection. Here the lights ‘dim’ during off-peak hours when there are no cars, cyclists or pedestrians in the vicinity. All the surrounding lights glow to their full capacity as soon as any activity is detected. This way the solution combines safety with savings!
The solution has been full tested and demonstrated at a prominent university campus in the Netherlands (TU Delft). For more details, please refer to our video on the pilot project.
