Tvilight CitySense Prime is a revolutionary street light motion sensor that complies with Zhaga Book 18 specifications.

The sensor has an in-built wireless lamp controller, allowing it to act as a stand-alone adaptive street lighting control solution and eliminating the need to pair an additional node.

The motion sensor uses a self-forming, self-healing, fast and secure 2.4 GHz RF Mesh network for communication.

With unmatched precision, CitySense Prime delivers ‘light-on-demand’ and ‘neighbour triggering’. As soon as a pedestrian, cyclist or vehicle is detected, the sensor notifies the street light to brighten up. At the same time, it also informs nearby street lights to increase brightness, keeping the road user literally in a ‘safe circle of light’. Once the road is empty, the sensor instructs the street light to dim down to a pre-defined level. The result – up to 80% energy savings while improving the safety and comfort of road users.

CitySense Prime complies with both the Zhaga Book 18 standard and D4i specifications. Zhaga Book 18 ensures quick, tool free installation. D4i specifications ensure the power availability for the sensor.

Advanced Detection

Precise 360° motion sensing detects humans, cyclists and vehicles. Special algorithm automatically filters out non-human movements that can cause false triggers, e.g. small animals or wind.

Built-In Sensors

CitySense Prime contains multiple sensors, including ambient light sensor, noise sensor, temperature sensor and tilt sensor.

Neighbour Triggering

Upon detection of a human, all lights in the surrounding areas turn to a pre-defined brightness level, visually creating a safe circle of light around the occupant while they travel and improving safety perception at the same time.

Heatmaps

CitySense Prime performs traffic occupancy monitoring without additional sensors. The generated heatmap shows the relative traffic occupancy based on the number of triggers.

Insightful Street Light Data

When paired with a smart driver, CitySense Prime collects key data from the driver, light source and luminaire. This data supports asset tracking, performance monitoring, energy metering and diagnostics.

Weather Resistant

CitySense Prime is designed to perform even in the harsh outdoor environments.

Failproof

3-level back-up system. In an unlikely case of device failure, the street light will return to the 100% brightness.

Ensure it’s Never too Dark

Instead of turning off lights completely, CitySense Prime dims them down to a predefined level (e.g., 20%), thereby maintaining safety perception of road users.
