CitySense Plus is a revolutionary integrated wireless motion sensor for the presence-based monitoring and control of outdoor lighting.

CitySense Plus integrates motion sensors, wireless communication and the lighting control – all in a single housing. It delivers on-demand dynamic lighting, making the lights adjust their brightness based on the presence of pedestrians, bicycles or cars. As a result, the lights automatically dim-down during the off-peak hours when there is nobody in the vicinity. Upon detection of the human presence, all lights in the surrounding area return to the brightness levels previously defined by the user, thereby creating a safe circle of light. Of course, interference factors such as small animals or moving trees are automatically filtered out.

Motion sensor-based adaptive dynamic lighting reduces the energy consumption by up to 80% without compromising public safety and citizen comfort.

Advanced Human Detection

Safe Circle of Light

The road occupant is surrounded in a ‘’circle of light” ensuring perception of safety! When a human is detected, the sensor triggers one to four neighboring lights (on each side). You can decide which lights you want to trigger!

Dynamic Dimming Profiles

Maximize energy savings with dynamic dimming profiles. Set hold time (light level after sensor trigger), as well as light rate up and down (how quickly the brightness increases and decreases) for individual luminaire

Heatmaps

Optimize your public lighting by understanding how and when the streets or specific areas (rail stations, parking lots, industrial zones) are used by the citizens.

Easy to Install

CitySense Plus performs traffic occupancy monitoring without additional sensors. The generated heatmap shows the relative traffic occupancy based on the number of triggers.

Neighbor Trigger

Upon detection of human presence, all lights in the surrounding areas turn to a pre-defined brightness level, visually creating a safe circle of light around the occupant while he/she is travelling and improving safety perception at the same time.

3-level back-up system. In an unlikely case of a system failure, street lamps will return to the brightness of 100%.
